Three Spanish projects awarded in the World Architecture Festival

This year the World Architecture Festival took place in the Berlin, and not in Singapore as it has been usual during the last years. In this way, the core of Europe was the scenario of one of the most expected events of the year for the construction and architecture sector.

Between the 15th and 17th of November the winners of the 17 categories were announced in a great ceremony in the Arena Berlin. This festival considers both completed buildings and projects, and awards the most prominent works in architecture along the globe during 2016.

This year eight nominee projects were from Spain, and three of them got this important recognition:

House MM

One of the Spanish winners were a private construction located in Palma de Majorca. It is a family house designed by Oliver Hernaiz Architecture Lab (OH LAB). This property shows a magnificent modern style with stunning bright interiors.

Salburua Civic Centre

Salburua Civic Centre is located in Vitoria and it has been created by IDOM. It is a completed building designed for several public purposes.

German School of Madrid

Grüntuch Ernst Architekten has designed this majestic building for the German School of Madrid. This academic institution will enjoy of a modern building that clearly make the most of the natural light of the Spanish capital, thanks to a building based on open spaces, a minimalist atmosphere and bright communal areas.
