Taylor Wimpey plans to build almost 600 properties on the Spanish coast
According several specialized media, the company Taylor Wimpey is seriously considering to build almost 600 new properties during this year and 2018 in Spain. To do this, the British developer company will invest about 160 million euros and it will create about 3,000 direct and indirect jobs.
The new developments will be in Majorca, Ibiza, Alicante and Murcia regions. On the Costa Blanca, and more specifically in Torrevieja, it will raise a new phase of its Punta Prima development, in collaboration with the Gomendio Real Estate Group. On the Costa del Sol it has already launched five new property developments.
Taylor Wimpey achieved a profit of 24 million euros in 2016, which is the double than the figure got in 2015 thanks to an improved amount of sales in Majorca, Costa del Sol and Costa Blanca, which seems to be the key areas for the British company.
