The Spanish economy will grow by 3% this year according the “wise men”
The German Economic Experts Council, also known as “the wise men” or “Fünf Wirtschaftsweisen”, has announced recently its forecast for the Eurozone countries. The conclusions are quite positive for Spain as they consider that the Spanish economy will grow this year by 3%. This figure is higher than the forecast of the Bank of Spain and the Spanish Government itself.
In comparison with the rest of the countries of the Eurozone, the place of Spain in the ranking is going to be extremally good too. In fact, among the eleven big countries, only Ireland has a higher forecast (6.9%) than Spain.
If the forecast of the Council comes truth, the growth of the Spanish economy will be twice the growth of Germany (1.5%), and almost three times more than France (1.2%).
Another important and positive fact is that the last year the forecast of the German Economic Experts Council failed as the real growth registered was even better. If this year the estimation is also too short the positive situation of the Spanish economy will be remarkable. Could be Spain grow even more than 3% in 2016?
