Construction activity in Spain will be one of the fastest of Europe until 2018
According Euroconstruct (independent analysis network), construction activity in Spain will be the fifth that grows the most until 2018. It is expected a rise of 3.7% this year, 4% in 2017 and 3.5% in 2018.
The four European countries with a better forecast according Euroconstruct are the Netherlands, Hungary, Poland and Ireland. Ireland is the leader of the ranking with a rise of more than 12%. In contrast, in Portugal and France the increase will slightly exceed 3%. Denmark, the United Kingdom and Finland which growth will be just around 2.5%. In the bottom of the table, with a forecast below 2%, are Italy, Belgium, Austria, Germany. Slovakia closes the ranking with an average of less than 1%.
Considering an extended period in this forecast (from 2015 to 2010), Spain remains representing a relevant place in the European ranking, as it is the second of the five big countries that holds the best expected result. For this period, the United Kingdom is the most important with an increase of 3.6%, followed by Spain (2.8%), Germany (2.4%), France (1.3%) and Italy (0.8%).
The data provided by Euroconstruct shows that the real estate crisis in Spain is slowly staying behind and the road to the recovery is arriving. The figures of 2007 are far away to be reached, but a constant improvement is present in most forecasts and analysis.
