Analysis over the property market in the Mediterranean coast

According a recent report of ST Sociedad de Tasación, the Costa del Sol keeps a leading position among the Spanish coasts in terms of new properties construction. In fact, almost 2.500 new homes have been built in the Costa del Sol.

In contrast, the Costa Dorada and Costa Brava are the coastal areas where less properties have been constructed during the last year, with just an amount of 378 and 279 new properties respectively.

The Costa Blanca is one of the most active areas of Spain, as more than 2.000 new homes have been built in the Mediterranean shores of Alicante province. Costa Blanca still been one of the most attractive Spanish areas where buy a property, and real estate developers still offering a great offer for both national and foreign buyers and investors.

In relation with price, the report highlights that the Costa Dorada offers the lowest prices, with an average price of just € 154,400. The Costa del sol is the more expensive with an average price of € 353,000. The Costa Blanca is located in a middle position with an average price tag of almost € 200,000.

An interesting fact provided by the report is that the biggest average size of the property offer is the represented by the Costa del Sol. It is clear that this coast reminds as a leader of the luxury real estate market in Spain.
